American Water has been sending out pamphlets to homeowners suggesting that homeowners enroll in their

          "WATER LINE PROTECTION PROGRAM"

WE SUGGEST THAT YOU SIGN UP FOR THIS PROTECTION

This service covers the underground water service pipe that brings water into your unit.  The pipe is located after your individual water meter, it runs under the building, through the walls and into your unit.

Each water meter services an individual unit, it is not a common pipe, therefore, it is responsibility of the homeowner to make repairs, not the Association and these repairs can be costly.

However, the underground pipe from the curb to your water meter is the responsibility of the Association.
